Our policies

Kimpex does not sell directly to consumers. Products on Kimpex.com are available for online purchase through our network of retailers who accepted to adhere our online sales program on Kimpex.com. To purchase products viewed on the Kimpex.com site, the consumer must select a dealer in the order process to complete the financial transaction with him or communicate with one of the authorized Kimpex dealers (in person, by phone, fax, email or through their Internet sites).

Kimpex distributes its products specifically to dealers operating in the motorized sports and water sports industries. But, Kimpex can refuse to sell to a dealer that does not respect their policies and /or business requirements.

All consumer requests sent to Kimpex’ customer service are automatically directed to the Kimpex.com site or the nearest region’s dealers.

Prices shown on the Kimpex site are manufacturers’ suggested retail prices (MSRP) and are subject to change without notice. Some products may be announced at a lower price when in promotion or clearance. These prices are not necessarily the ones in retailer’s store. The Canadian dollar is used for the Canadian versions of the site, while the American dollar is used for the American version of the site.

Retailers can sell at a higher price or a lesser price as per their judgement, but must apply the price rules communicated by Kimpex in the catalogs we sent them.

MSRP’s do not include taxes, or any other additional costs which could apply.

Prices for promotional products on the Kimpex.com site are managed by Kimpex and do not necessarily apply to all its authorized retailers, nor to all their Internet sites. All products purchased on Kimpex.com website are sold at the price advertised in the last step of the purchasing process on the site.

Kimpex reserves the right to cancel an order in case of a web pricing error. In that case, the consumer will be informed of the error and will not get the product at the mistakenly advertised price. No legal action may be taken against Kimpex if this happens.

The management of returns must be directly ensured by the retailers according to the return policy in effect for regular orders.

In the case where a customer purchases an item on Kimpex.com, return management must be assured by the dealer the consumer selected to complete his transaction when he ordered online. In no case shall Kimpex be responsible for the management of product returns purchased on Kimpex.com neither for those purchased at the retailers.

Dealers may accept product returns from Kimpex.com only in this situation* :

• The product received is not the one ordered. (Error from Kimpex)
• The product ordered has been damaged during the shipping (Error from the transporter)
• The product ordered is defect and still under warranty (Refer to the manufacturer’s warranty)
• The product ordered is not what you expected and is still within the acceptable return period of the dealer (Error from the consumer)

*Note that some return fees or handling fees may be charged by the dealer whatever the reason of the return.

The warranties applicable to products distributed by Kimpex posted on the Kimpex.com site are set by the manufacturers and managed independently in-store from one dealer to another.

For products from brands Kimpex, Kimpex SeatJack, Commander, CKX, Win-Tec and Boatersports communicate directly with Kimpex through the Contact-Us page.

Certain Kimpex products qualify for warranty extensions upon registration of the product via your MY KIMPEX account on Kimpex.com. For the list of applicable products, open a MY KIMPEX account and go the Product Registration tab.

Kimpex agrees to keep the data up to date on its Kimpex.com site, but cannot be held responsible for any possible or potential errors. In no case whatsoever shall Kimpex be held responsible for accidents or losses relative to this data.

It is the consumer’s responsibility to validate the accuracy of the information supplied by Kimpex before purchasing a product on the site.
