What is our role as a distributor?
Our role is to look after the distribution, that is to say, financing, collection, storage, promotion and shipping products to resellers, who are selling to consumers.

As a distributor, we do not sell directly to consumers. The products we distribute are only available through our network of authorized retailers. To find a reseller of Kimpex products, click here.
Does Kimpex design its own products?
Yes. Kimpex is also a brand of home products. Several products are designed and developed in-house by a team of experts under the responsibility of the Vice President of Product Management / Research and Development.

After registering, the site will suggest products or search results based on the information you entered. You will also have access to exclusive content from the ?Member zone?!

No. Products distributed by Kimpex are available only through our network of retailers.

How to make sure a product is compatible for my snowmobile?

Mission helmet : Questions

1. What’s inside the Mission box?

2. Can I wear my prescription glasses with my Mission helmet?

The helmet has been designed to accommodate prescription glasses. Depending on the model, the frame of your glasses may come into contact with the breath deflector. In this case, we recommend the use of a connected electric shield that allows you to ride without the breath deflector.

3. What is the purpose of the breath deflector?

The flexible breath deflector optimizes proper functioning of the AMS (Air Management System) by creating two zones within the helmet.

4. What is the ideal position for the breath deflector?

By using the bones of your nose and those of your cheeks as a contact point, the mask should rest tightly and comfortably on the cheeks and nose to isolate the lower zone of the face, in order to confine the moist air exhaled by the mouth.           

The mask should not pinch the tip of the nose or the nostrils, and should not touch your lips. 

5. My breath deflector is not comfortable. How can I adjust it?

The breath deflector is made of a flexible material. Open the shield put on the helmet. Close the shield and move the helmet over your head. This should help to ensure that the deflector is correctly positioned on your nose.

6. Despite several attempts, it seems impossible to me to adjust my breath deflector. What can I do about it?

It is very important that the helmet is perfectly adjusted. First make sure you have the right size. The helmet should not be too big or too small. It should be comfortable without constricting the head or forehead, or on the contrary, it should not move too freely. Refer to the size chart.

If the helmet size is ideal and you still can’t adjust the breath deflector, you may need to replace the shield. Please contact your retailer or customer service.

The breath deflector is equipped with notched straps. Pull or tighten the straps to lower and move the deflector away from your face. Release the straps to approach it and lift it up on the nose.

7. Is it possible to ride without a breath deflector?

Depending on weather conditions, you can remove the breath deflector without affecting proper functioning of the AMS.  

However, this may require frequent adjustment of the incoming air flow with the shield ventilation ports. Since the AMS is activated with movement, without the breath deflector, you will have to open the visor if you are stationary.

The connected electric shield allows riding without breath deflector.

8. Can I install a communication system in my helmet?

There is no specific cavity in the Mission helmet's EPS to accommodate a communication system. However, depending on the size of the system, installation may be possible.

9. Why the cheek pads are different from those illustrated in the manual?

As our tests did not show a significant reduction in noise, but rather user discomfort due to ear constriction, we opted for cheek pads that free the ear rather than surrounding it. This ensures a better comfort for the user.

10. The sun visor is not always easy to operate. Is that normal?

When the shield is open and the deflector is installed, it is not possible to lower the sun visor. Forcing the sun visor to operate in this situation could cause the mechanism to break.

11. What is the certification of the Mission helmet?

The Mission helmet meets and exceeds the DOT FMVSS 218 standards.

Can I buy directly from Kimpex.com?
Yes, it is now possible to order directly on Kimpex.com, but to respect the supply chain and our dealer network, we will ask you to select a dealer to complete the financial transaction online.
What paiement methods are accepted?
You can safely complete your transactions on Kimpex.com by using one of the major credit card company. (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx, Discovery, JCB ou Dinners Club)
How can I track my order?
In the confirmation email you received, there is a tracking number.  Enter that number on the carrier's website to track your order.
How to cancel an order?

Unfortunately, you cannot cancel a confirmed order.  You can decline it upon reception or accept it and ask for a return with the dealer you selected to complete the transaction.

Attention, some handling or shipping fees can be applied by the dealer.

Where can I see my purchase history?

You can see your purchase history only if you created a customer account (My Kimpex) and signed-in for your previous orders.

If so, then click on the Log In button or the My Kimpex link at the top of the site to enter your account and see your purchase history.

Why do I have to select a dealer even if I asked for a home delivery?

Because this is with this dealer that you are completing the financial part of the transaction.

Kimpex do not sell directly to consumers, always through a retailer.

This retailer is also responsible for your after-sale service!

Why my local dealer is not showing in the dealer selector?

There are 2 possible reasons to explain that:

1 - Whether your local retailer has not joined the Kimpex program to sell on Kimpex.com (He can contact Kimpex customer service to request it)

2 - Whether the products added in your shopping cart are not all available from your local dealer.

Can I ship my items in a different country?

Kimpex.com only ship in Canada and United States for the moment.

You need to select the Canadian version to see the available products in Canada and the American version to see the available products for USA.

Can I pick my order in store?

Yes you can!

You need to wait the call from your selected dealer before going to the store to pick your order. (Average delay is 24 to 48h)

Shipping fees may occur as even if it is an "in store-pickup", Kimpex will ship the product from its warehouse to the retailer.

Can I ship my items to a PO box?

Yes, We ship everywhere in Canada and United States where the major carrier allow it. (Dicom, DHL, Purolator, UPS,...)

Extra shipping charges may applied for beyond areas.

What are the extra shipping fees I can expect on my order?

All orders over $99.99 are shipped free (Some exceptions apply).

Shipping fees are fixed, but may vary depending of :

-Overweight items to ship
-Oversized items to ship
-Items to be shipped on skid
-Dangerous good to ship (ex.: Battery)
-Beyond areas
-Items where environmental taxes apply
-etc.
Do the advertized prices on Kimpex.com are the same in store from a dealer to another?

No, not automatically. Prices on Kimpex.com are established by Kimpex, not by the dealers.

The dealers may sell at a lower or higher price.

How can I validate if a product on the site is in stock in a dealership?

Inventory on Kimpex.com does not reflect the dealers' inventory.  All order processed through Kimpex,com, whatever which dealer is selected to complete the transaction, is shipped from Kimpex warehouses with Kimpex inventory.

To validate the availability of a particular parts in a dealership, you have to contact him directly.

How can I return a defective product or a product that doesn't fit my needs?

All return requests must be done directly with the dealer you selected to complete the transaction (written on your invoice). Dealer's return policies apply*.

Kimpex won't accept any direct returns from consumers.

*The dealer may apply return fees.
